Today is Friday- that means I get two and a half days of time to myself. Although I think it should be more. I think a four day work week should be standard, but that is besides the point.

I am sitting at my desk trying to think of things to do but not really being successful. The problem is I feel tired, dehydrated, and not motivated.

I want to have a good night tonight but maybe I should peel myself away from my computer for now and stop thinking that if I just sit here long enough, something miraculous will happen.

The best thing I can do is step away from the computer for the rest of the day and do something that really “kicks off the weekend” and gets me out of work mode.

The problem is I don’t know what that is. I feel like I am trapped in this house. The opportunity is getting outside without overheating- maybe a pool or the San Marcos springs? Maybe a good workout? I should stay away from CBD till 8pm when I can come down a bit. Let’s drink a bunch of water and figure out something big to do. Then I can run to Kohls for returns when traffic dies down.
